Plumbago Magazine, Issue 7: The Tiny Issue!
Mark Twain once wrote, “If I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter.” It seems counter-intuitive, but those of us who love writing, drawing, or creating, know that the greater the constraint, the better than output. This issue’s all about the art of brevity. The fiction, poetry, comics and illustrations you find here are shorter in scale or scope than our usual submissions, and the issue itself is physically smaller. Some of the content you’ll find within these tiny pages:
Editor Harry Marks writes a short piece on lending a pencil to your school crush
The three Six-word Story Content winners, with stories illustrated by Becky Aiken
Candice T with her series of illustrations on Col-o-rings
Cliff Gilles with a very short play
And lots more!
All of this is wrapped up in a pocket notebook-sized format (about 3.5 x 5.5 inches) in a gorgeous cover illustrated by Amy Noseworthy from Hired Hand Studio.
